Kenyan Hollywood star Lupita Nyong'o has confirmed that she is indeed dating Somalia-Canadian rapper K'naan.
According to Lupita, they have been
dating since September last year as she revealed to VOGUE. She will be
the cover-girl of the prestigious magazine this coming July and they did
an interview for her spread.
Earlier in the year, a rumour sparked as photos of the duo surfaced online after Lupita's Oscar win.
There were speculations as fans and media fished for information on
who was dating the new Hollywood IT girl, but Lupita has kept her love
life private until now.
She was even linked to fellow celebrity Jared Leto after the two posed for a few photos on different occassions.
The strong claim that came with
"She loves his humanitarianism, they're both passionate about African
issues,"a friend of K'naan had revealed earlier in the year.
K'naan is a divorcee and a father of two children with his ex-wife
Deqa Warsame.He is best known for his World Cup hit 'Waving flag' which
was the tournament's anthem in 2010.
It is not yet revealed if Lupita has met his children and just how
serious their relationship is, but we wish them all the best in their
budding relationship.

New singer and producer on the block, Klein Kalonzo also known as K Deuce has recently been in the limelight after news broke that he was the voice behind the chorus of a new rap song 'Looking Up", a collabo he did with Dandora Music a rap group from Dandora.
The prominent politician's son looks to be plotting a take over in more than just music as he has reportedly been seen with female music juggler, Dj Elektra who is said to have been dating, rapper and fellow deejay Madtraxx for a number of years.
A popular entertainment pullout had reported on her blossoming relationship with Madtraxx in March 2013 after the two were spotted at the Jameson Live Party acting cosy and touchy. The "Kumerera" hit maker also confirmed their love affair. Deejay Elektra is affiliated to Code Red, owned by Madtraxx and company. “Yes we are dating,” said Madtraxx, before adding that there wasn’t need to add details since the relationship is till on its toddler stage.
Fast forward to June 2014 and she has been seen with K Deuce enjoying each other’s company on several occasions. When sought for comment about the alleged affair, the DJ remained elusive and coyly said; “There is nothing wrong for us to hang out together”
DJ Electra who had been dating Madtraxx for over six years is said to have broken up recently with the multi-talented artiste. On insisting, DJ Electra told the popular entertainment pullout that the whole thing is a private matter and she would not want to comment on it

East Africa’s finest, Diamond and Miss Tanzania 2006 Wema Sepetu are said to be the hottest celebrity couple in the region dwarfing the likes of Nameless and Wahu. The relationship has not been the smoothest of rides, with constant on and offs.
Word has been going round recently that the couple would be walking the aisle very soon, allegations which Wema came out and rubbished through social media.
However, a prominent astrologer in Tanzania, Maalim Hassan Yahya Hussein has foretold the country’s biggest celebrity wedding between Diamond and Wema in August which is a month shy.
According to the astrologer, the two have to get married in August as according to the ‘readings of the stars” it is the only appropriate month. He also insisted that the two should be married in Tanzania and if they don’t get hitched in August, they will have to wait for 2016 as their marriage can only happen during an even year.

Joey Muthengi, radio presenter, actress, Channel O veejay and Tusker project fame hostrecently spoke about how her life has turned out for her in recent times.
Well, she had an interview with The Drum magazine where she dished on most of the questions you would have. We start with men becuase its probably what many people ask about her, is she dating, what does she look for in a man. As for what she looks for in a man "a real man, a gentleman , someone mature who can take care of himself is ultimately what i look for , which is hard to find. A man is sexy because he is confident and honest".
She has been on an awkward date too, she says "it was when this guy i met up with, he assumed we were going to his place afterwards. It was a first date. Long story short, we parted ways at the parking lot and we never spoke again. I am not dating anyone. The dating train stall lately. I ve gotten to the point where dating is not a priority for me. Its something i will pursue when i get time and thats not right now."
Joey doesnt go to many events, you will rarely see her out on red carpets as it is with most celebrities with her status. To that she says ,"i am stuck up. Most assume that because i'm not alwasys out and about, I think highly of myself. However those who know me understand that im an introvert who is terribly shy, so i rarely make public appearances.
A man she calls William has been very prominent on her blog, Joeys Factory, she says this is a culmination of all the wrong men she has dated. Well maybe that could explain why she has chosen to stay out of the dating scene.
She is currenytly working on a TV show she is co producing and an online radio project she partnered with an upcoming dj on. How does she keep fit ? she does yoga and loves her food spicy
