J. Lo’s fragrance empire is epic, ever since she launched her fresh ‘n’ clean debut scent, Glow, back in 2002, which effectively put celebrity-designed scents on the cosmetic map. Nearly a decade later, she continues to expand her palette of scents with best-selling bottles.
Love & Light is described as a sparkling, woody floral, which is an homage to the softer, sensual side of this glamour girl. Notes of Italian mandarin and pomegranate mingle with rose crystal absolute and radiant jasmine petals — along with musk and praline. Mmmm. Can’t you just imagine spritzing this divine aroma behind your ears and on your wrist pulse points? It sounds like a romantic blend.
Lopez called Love & Light an extension of a previous scent, Love & Glamour. But her goal with L&L was to “create a fragrance that was less about the world around you and more about your inner light and your spirit. It’s about how you feel inside; it’s not about your outside world.”
Even the bottle was designed to emulate the curves of a woman a la Lopez herself.
