Despite selling a commendable 232,000 units across the globe in the last seven days, Beyonce’s ‘4‘ is no longer the current highest selling album in the world after enjoying that feat last week.
Find out why below…Slipping to #2, ‘4′ now sits one position below Japanese band Arashi who now hold the #1 position. Remarkably, Adele and Lady GaGa still remain in the Top 5.
Adele at #3 with ‘21′ and Ms.’Judas’ at #4 with ‘Born This Way’. Only the difference of 11,000 units stopped Adele from from taking Beyonce’s current chart position.
Elsewhere on the chart, Rihanna’s ‘Loud’ found its way back into the top ten with 46,000 units sold this week much to the delight of her RihannaNavy.
On the singles front, Nicki Minaj has cause to celebrate with ‘SuperBass’ being #9 on the United World Track Chart.
However, it is Katy Perry’s ‘Last Friday Night’ which sits at #2 making this single the highest selling single to be released by a female artist this week.
