At first, the pop star kicked off the song solo, but after the first chorus, she was joined by the 63-year-old legend. “Alice f—ing Cooper,” Kesha announced before getting down on her knees and bowing to the iconic singer.
After the show, the 24-year-old tweeted to the Rock and Roll Hall of famer, affectionately referring to him as “dad.” She wrote, “Thanx for coming to Oslo to do SCHOOLS OUT with me dad… ; ) LEGEND. F—ING LEGEND.”
Cooper, who was in Oslo for his own show at Telenor Arena, replied, “Thanks @keshasuxx! Next time our stage, and be sure to bring some bandaids…” Fatherly advice, for sure.
‘School’s Out’ became Cooper’s first major hit song, peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Singles chart. The popularity of the tune helped put the 1972 album of the same name at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Pop Albums chart.
Kesha will wrap her European dates next week and have a few days of rest before kicking off her extended North American Get $leazy tour, beginning on July 26 in Harrington, Del.
