With Demi Lovato‘s power ballad ‘Skyscraper‘ marking her return to the pop music scene after a rough year which saw her publicly undergo a course of treatment, the singer is stoked for her legion of loyal fans to dig into the rest of her new meaty album ‘Unbroken,’ which lands Sept. 20.The album sees Lovato partnering with Jason Derulo and Dev, but a song that really came from the ’90s is ‘All Night Long,’ which features contributions from Missy Elliott and Timbaland, both of whom were massive in the hip-hop scene two decades ago! The song is a contrast to the emotional ‘Skyscraper’ in that it has a party vibe.
Lovato spoke to MTV about working with two titans, saying, “I was so stoked when I went into the studio. I was working with Timbaland, and Missy was there, and she was like, she heard one of the songs and she asked if she could rap on it.” It took Lovato all of two seconds to offer her reply!
